10th Grade

10th Grade was more normal as I was now in school, but unfortunately towards the later part of the year, I went into a bit of a depression. Because everything was in person now, I was exposed to many different activities and enjoyed myself through these activities. One thing that was remnant of the COVID pandemic was the mask wearing. I chose to wear a mask for the majority of the year.

Honors Analysis
(Full Year Course)

This was my first class in the morning, so although I'm not fully awake for this class, it's math. The material in the class we learned was pretty fun, there was also extra credit which definitely inflated my grades a little, but it doesn't hurt. Additionally, our teacher was really nice and flexible with our schedules in terms of quizzes and tests because she was a sport's mom herself.

Honors German III
(Full Year Course)

Again, similar to last year in that the workload was not very heavy. The reason is becasue the teacher is not focused on actually teaching, instead gives in class assignments which is very minimal to teach students the material. In part, I felt that this class was a waste because I could be learning german when I was not. After this year, I started to use Duolingo because Duo has taught me more than my teacher lol.

Accelerated Drawing and Painting 1
(Alternate Day Course)

I enjoy this course very much. Not only did I get to make art, but it was also nice to meet people outside of the nerd realm. Additionally, some of the projects in this class, I put a lot of effort in, so I went to clinic many a times.

Well, it's health. You learn about being safe and healthy by being active and not doing drugs.

Honors American Civilization 10
(Full Year Course)

This class was initially challenging, but as the year went on, the course eased itself out. I enjoyed this class because we also talked about economics which was enlightening to understand how the real world works around us. Additionally, the teacher sometimes goes on interesting digressions which lead to some intriguing dicussions. Additionally, I had fun with all the different films we watched in the class.

Honors Chemistry
(Full Year Course)

In this class, there was something known as the "Chem Stud," basically its a pencil for the people who got the highest score on each test. Because of this extrinsic motivation, I worked my butt off for those pencils. The class was enjoyable too, and the teacher was very friendly and talkative. To be honest, I miss those days where I only cared about grades in school without any other worry or concern. Chemistry itself is not a bad course, and I think that it can be fun if you make it fun.

Honors English 10
(Full Year Course)

I really thought the teacher was nice and formal throughout the year, although most students would disagree with the nice part. The teacher was willing to help, and I enjoyed the lessons given. Additionally, I really thought that this class was going to be a struggle especially vocab, so I put a lot of effort into that. However, the vocab was not as hard as I believed, but it was definitely not easy either. During the year, there are two portraits on the left, for we also got a student-teacher.
