11th Grade

This year was certainly busy as I took the most intensive classes in my school. Although most of my life was dominanted by school, I also had fun this year branching out and participating in more school events than I have ever before. Trying to push myself to my academic limits, I self-studied AP Environmental Science as well which was much easier than I expected it to be.

AP Drawing
(Full Year Course)

When I first started, I was not sure if I could handle the amount of work required in this class, but I progressed and worked hard in this class, I realized that I had much more artistic talent and dedication that I once thought. I am also thankful for my teacher's guidance throughout the entire course because I do not think I would be as successful with my art without my teacher. Moreover, I enjoyed making art even though many weekends were spent also because the time alloted in class is not much.

AP English Language and Composition
(Full Year Course)

Actually, I was persuaded by another student to take this class because she said it is not as hard as I thought and I knew that if I were to take this class, I would put in 110% into this class. It turns out she was right, I took this class, struggled all throughout the year, but in the end, it was a fruitful class. I learned so much about rhetorical analysis and was successful on my AP exam.

AP World History
(Full Year Course)

I really enjoyed this class as I loved learning about the different cultures and history of the world. Even though we could not cover everything, it was a really solid course, and the teacher's energy also helped to make this class bearable and more fun. I also made a game in my world history class for our final project (Link on the right side); it was really fun to make and see how my classmate's handle the challenge. 100% would recommend even if the teacher is not good because through this class, anyone can learn to view history from a global standpoint.

AP Psychology
(Full Year Course)

I took this class initially because it was an "easy" class. It was not as easy as some of the other classes that I had, but the content and the class was interesting. Especially when the teacher created fun activities that we could participate in, we would digress and enjoy the time in the class learning through these various activities. This class was mainly memorization, so in that way it was easy, but there is a lot of content and you have to understand and connect the dots in other cases.

Honors Anatomy and Physiology
(Full Year Course)

This class was my absolutely my favorite class this year because I just enjoy the subject. While it was an incredibly challenging course (many compare this Honors class as an AP class), I am glad to have spent time with my teacher in this class learning about the wonders of the human body. This gave me much inspiration for my interest in medicine and biology as I enjoyed this class very much and spent hours on end studying (with even real bones)! I also made a game as a part of my final project (Link on the right side).

AP Calculus BC
(Full Year Course)

Initially, I believe that this class was very difficult, growing up hearing how difficult this class was. I almost switched to AP Statistics because of this. However, learning calculus is not quite as hard as I once thought. Because my teacher was very nice and incredible at the job, I learned well in her class and enjoy the digressions on the different stories that my teacher would delve into. Additionally, my teacher prepared me well for the AP Exam as we had over 3 weeks to study for the exam in class! 100% would recommend.
